These textiles I work with are only found deep in the villages and various countries on the continent. They are not your run-of-the-mill 'Kente' clothes, which I also love... This is just a point of distinction... Anyway, again, I couldn't have dreamt of a direct connection to the Dyula Tribe of the Ivory Coast of Africa, and this offering is my imagination of these Ivorian Ceremonial Textiles... They are limited, one of a kind, and because of the technique in creating them, no two pieces are exactly the same. These textiles have never before been made available outside of this tribe for its ceremonial purposes...
