This textile is a Yoruba Agbada Robe reimagined for a contemporary urban luxury clientele. The textiles are all handmade and embroidered locally of the Aso Oke Cloth from Ibadan Nigeria, Circa 1960s, and prior…..The technique used to weave the textile is thousands of years old and remains exactly the same today! It has been passed down from one generation to another…..

Originally worn by Royals Elders and used for ecumenical coronations, it is still a mandatory textile in cultural ceremonies, especially weddings!
